Life after dropping out

Dropping out is rarely a snap decision made for one reason alone. Most experts agree that it is a process that often begins with students dropping out mentally. Life after dropping out is difficult. With their lack of education and skills, dropouts are unable to find good, well-paying jobs. They are often concentrated in low-level positions, such as laborers or service workers. Students who usually drop out usually miss out on alot their senior year of high school like, trips prom and graduating with all of their friends. The number of high school students who drop out of high school has been on the decline during the last quarter of the twentieth century. Study has shown that by the late 1970s this trend had changed, and females are now less likely to dropout of high school then are males. Furthermore, there are racial differences in the drop out rate. Hispanics are most likely to dropout of high school, followed by blacks, non-Hispanic whites, and Asians. Every teen has their side of the story to why they did not contine to finish school, and sometimes that problem would be because of personal problem at home which is always the reason.
